Unrefined milk thistle oil offered by our company is obtained as a result of the cold pressing of the seeds of blessed milk thistle (Silybum marianum L.). Selection of the highest quality raw material, in addition to the latest pressing technology, is the key to success. Ripe, shiny and optimally developed – the best raw material for pressing such a valuable oil. The low extraction temperature (not exceeding 40ºC) allows maintaining the most important active substances in this oil.
Milk thistle oil has a high unsaturated fat content (80 g/100 g). Furthermore, it contains natural plant sterols (β-Sitosterol 38 % and Δ7-Stigmasterol 22 %).
Linoleic acid (LA) and plant sterols/plant stanols help to maintain healthy blood cholesterol levels. The beneficial effect occurs with an intake of:
* 10 g LA a day;
* at least 0,8 g plant sterols/plant stanols a day.
Maintaining a healthy state of health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Use and recommended intake:
Daily recommended intake: 12 g (3 teaspoons = 13 ml)
Serve cold. For adults to supplement their diet with polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Milk thistle oil has a delicate, rather neutral taste. So it will not dominate the taste of salad or food. Due to the fact that it is a 100 % natural product, the taste, colour and smell of the oil may vary from batch to batch.
