Evening primrose oil received the TOP PRODUCT certificate “Appreciate Polish” 2018.Evening primrose oil is extracted as a result of cold pressing of carefully selected seeds of the two-year-old evening primrose. The low extraction temperature (not exceeding 40º C) allows maintaining the most important active substances in this oil.
Cold-pressed evening primrose oil is characterised by:
– high unsaturated fat content ( 92 g/100 g),
– high polyunsaturated fat content (85 g/100 g),
– the presence of the rare valuable gamma-linolenic acid GLA (8 g/100 g),
– the presence of naturally occurring vitamin E in the oil (62,7 mg/100 g).
Replacing dietary saturated fats with unsaturated fats helps to maintain healthy blood cholesterol levels (mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids are both unsaturated fats).
The beneficial effect occurs with an intake of 10 g LA a day.
Maintaining a healthy state of health requires a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Use and recommended intake:
For direct consumption or as an addition to desserts, salads, cocktails or other dishes.
It is not recommended to heat the oil.
Suggested serving is 1 tsp / day.
